There are no bad kids,
just bad behavior,
and there’s usually a reason for it.
The boy who hits his siblings to get their attention and runs away was just diagnosed with ADHD and is impulsive.
The five-year-old, having a meltdown like a toddler, kicking and screaming about a toy, has a new baby at home and has been having difficulty adjusting.
The little boy interrupting his mom’s conversation with a friend by jumping around and screaming for her, «Mom, Momm, Mommm!” is acting like that because he didn’t eat his lunch and is starving for a snack from his mom’s diaper bag.
The three-year-old girl who is being cranky and fidgety in the crowd watching her big sister’s ballet performance is bored and over it, because an hour is way too long to be expected to sit still at her age.
Because most of the time, they’re kids being kids, learning how to deal with big emotions, navigating this big world for themselves, and making mistakes along the way.

Great post . Recognizing that children are still learning how to navigate their emotions and the world around them is essential. By empathizing with children and considering the reasons behind their actions, we can foster a more compassionate and understanding environment

We should encourage kids to behave like kids not adults.

Thoroughly agree. All behaviour is learnt. It is the result of experience. What is learnt can be unlearnt. The art of education is to help change negative behaviour patterns and deal with the underlying issues.
